| All Good Things ... |
| As many of you have noticed, things haven't been quite the same at Buckland Media this spring. And as many have either heard from me or through the grapevine, that is because my family and I have been busy packing to uproot ourselves from our home of the past 19 years to move to Washington State.
Of course, this means that Buckland Media will no longer be working to cover high school sports in Northeast Michigan.
It wasn't a decision that came easily. The economy has affected my family in ways that all too many people who live in our area would find familiar. With jobs and income disappearing, we are having to leave behind our friends and our life here.
Other than getting scores updated through the end of the 2010 state tournaments, there won't be any further updates as far as stories and scores to the site.
The site, however, will not be taken down in the forseeable future. All photos will still be available through Shutterfly (though I will no longer be able to accept mailed order forms or checks). If time allows I will also upload some older photos from the late 1990s through 2003 that have never been available on the site. In the weeks to come I'll likely rearrange some things to make it obvious when new photos have been added.
It's been a pleasure and a privilege to work with the coaches, parents and athletes of Northeast Michigan. A lot of people have said that they will miss what Buckland Media has done. But not nearly as much as I will miss all of you. Thanks, God bless and keep in touch!

| AuGres-Sims' softball team and Hale's baseball team combined to go 13-37 during the regular season. But those records meant nothing during this week's district tournament, as both walked off the field with district championship trophy and a trip to next weekend's regional tournament at Unionville-Sebewaing. |
