Outlook: Louise Hofer returns to the Falcons' head coaching spot after a two-year hiatus. She'll welcome back a strong core of swimmers that she hopes will bring along the younger athletes on the squad.

"We have a nice balance of returning swimmers and new athletes," she says. "Nick Elliott, Conrad Laurion and Sean McClintic are all good role models and teachers for the freshmen and new swimmers."

The Falcons appear to be strongest in the freestyle sprints and breast stroke.

"We're looking at a strong season," Hofer says. "I'm looking at solid performances in our dual meets, all working toward the (Independence Swim Conference finals) in February.
